If you’re a cat-lover, this start-up is for you! The aim of its creators is to connect cat owners with cat-loving sitters in their area.
How does it work?
A start-up “Cat in a Flat” provides a solution to a common problem among cats’ owners – travels. You don’t need to worry any more if you need to leave your pet for a few days. The firm allows for finding a perfect cat-sitter in your area. It is also a perfect option for people looking for a part-time job. As such, it satisfies both parties – cats’ owners and cats’ sitters. The founders established an impressive level of trust and emotional connection between the website developers and its users, thanks to writing a blog. This is where the users can meet each other and get an access to professional advice of experienced individuals, including RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) specialists. They can share their concerns about their cat’s behaviours with like-minded individuals or get to know more about cats’ health. Finally, they can read the diaries of other cat sitters and ask them questions. In addition, the founders offer a range of products that aim to promote their goal of connecting cat owners with cat-loving sitters. These include funny bags, cups, T-shirts and many more. This business is clearly a result of passion and well-established commercial acumen. Its founders, Julia Barnes and Kathrin Burckhardt proudly say that since the establishment of the company in 2015, it already operates in Ireland, Netherlands, Germany and Austria and has offices in London and Berlin. Collective Equity Ownership Ltd. (CEO) is a secondary fund. We allow founders and shareholders of VC-backed companies to pool together their shares with other late-stage companies to diversify their portfolio. If you know any cool founders, or someone with a lot of VC experience, get in touch! We love meeting new people! ceo@collectiveequity.com |
